http:// is now optional
Unlike in the early days, you don't have to type
http:// in front of a web
site address anymore. In some cases, you don't even have
to type the
www.
either.
For example, to go to http://www.ChamisPlac.com/,
you can just type www.ChamisPlace.com
(or ChamisPlace.com)
as the address. Most browsers will assume that you typed
a WWW address.
