Your own version of the Navigator
On March 31, 1998, Netscape Communications Corporation released the source code for its browser -- Netscape Communicator (also known as Netscape Navigator).
If you're a software developer or have a development team in your company, you can now build your own version of the browser by downloading and making the necessary changes to its source code.
Even if you're not a software developer, be sure to take a look around the
mozilla.org site; someone else may already have a customized version of the browser with the features you need. Or, you can always send your suggestions to the developer community.
