Demonstrates how to look for text fragments using regular expressions and list the matches in a drop-down list that can be used to jump to the location of the found text.

  • Collect text fragments with location information from the current editor using regular expressions,
     
  • Reduce processing time by checking if the text being scanned has changed since the last session,
     
  • Associate information with drop-down list items which only the plugin can access, and
     
  • Go to the location of the item picked from the drop-down list and leave several line above and below it.

How do I install demoListMatches?

  • Download the "demoListMatches" plugin and save it to a folder of your choice (for example, c:\webfiles\). It's not necessary to manually extract the *.zip file, HTML-Kit will expand it to the proper folder during the installation.
     
  • Install Plugin
    Select "Install | Install Plugin" from HTML-Kit's "Tools" menu. Point to the downloaded *.zip file and click "Open."
     
  • If any additional prompts appear, follow them to complete the installation.
